Doctor’s Trivia

Dr. Javier Saldaña: The man who rejuvenates the intimacy of women in Cosmed

“The genital structures are as important as any other part of the body, why not make them beautiful.” Dr. Saldaña.

The year 2017 has been a year of many changes and innovations in VIDA. Among them is Obstetrician gynecologist Javier Saldaña Jasso, a specialist with more than 9 years of experience in the area of gynecology and obstetrics, now contributing to the vaginal rejuvenation of women in all senses, here in VIDA.

Recently accredited by the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America, Dr. Saldaña has received training directly with Dr. David Matlock, a pioneer in the field of vaginal rejuvenation in the United States and a widely recognized plastic surgeon established in the Beverly Hills area.

“In this course we were able to practice on the cosmetic approach for vaginal procedures such as labiaplasty, surgery for the vaginal foreskin, interior and posterior vaginoplasty, among others. It has been a great experience working with him,” said Dr. Saldaña enthusiastically.

“Many times women come to the office and they tell me, Doctor I no longer feel, or I no longer enjoy sex the same, or my partner or husband tells me that too. So thanks to the Juliet Laser treatment we can offer a solution without surgery for those women who want to renew their sex life and enjoy more. ”

A Little Tightening Goes a Long Way

Vaginal rejuvenation basically consists of reducing the diameter of the vagina, and changing its appearance both inside and outside. A tighter vagina will allow a more intense friction during intimate life. “What we do is remove excess tissue from the vagina in the anterior part, remove the excess mucosa from the back and inside and shorten the muscles of the perineum; as a consequence this brings a tighter vagina.”

Another problem that causes a distended vagina – as the muscles separate because of one or more births – is a fallen bladder. As it is held by the vagina, it causes discomfort to women. A vaginoplasty surgery helps to recuperate tightness in the vagina up to 90% which will help us to lift the bladder and put it in its place, says Dr. Saldaña.

“Many patients also come to the office telling me that they suffer from urinary incontinence problems, for this we have two solutions, surgical and non-surgical. Both deliver very good results and make a big difference in their daily life. The only difference is that for the case of non-surgical like the Juliet Laser, a retouch is necessary every year or every 18 months depending on the case. ”
