Tattoo Removal

Tijuana, Mexico

Have you got a tattoo that you regret? Perhaps you have got your ex-partner’s name on your arm? Maybe you have a tattoo that you got when you were 16-years-old, despite your parents telling you that you would regret it, and *shock*, now you do? Or, maybe you fell victim to an inexperienced tattooist who did a bad job? A lot of us can relate to situations like this, but the good news is that there are options available. You can get tattoo removal, and this is a service that we offer here at Vida Wellness and Beauty Center.

Not only do we provide our service to locals in Mexico, but a lot of people come to our clinic from the United States because of the low-price, high-quality service we provide. All of our professionals are extremely experienced and our clinic is state-of-the-art, yet we are able to offer much more affordable prices. Plus, you get to have a vacation in the process. Sounds good, right?

What is tattoo removal treatment?

Tattoo removal is a treatment that involves the use of special lasers to remove the tattoo ink with much less scarring. Over the years, surgical procedures, such as excision, and dermabrasion treatments have been used to get rid of tattoos. However, these approaches will cause a lot of scarring and they can have side effects too. For minimal side effects and minimal scarring, laser tattoo removal makes the most sense. When you book a consultation with us at VIDA, we will evaluate your tattoo to figure out how many sessions you are probably going to need.

What does tattoo removal treatment help with?

Laser tattoo removal can help you to get rid of a tattoo that you now consider unsightly. There are many reasons why people want to have tattoos removed. This includes the following:

  • You simply don’t like the tattoo anymore
  • You simply don’t like the tattoo anymore
  • You feel like the tattoo is in a place that is too visible
  • You feel like your tattoo is having a negative impact on your job prospects
  • You have your ex-partner’s name tattooed on you
  • The tattoo has started to discolor and fade
  • The tattoo is inappropriate or offensive
  • The tattoo does not symbolize what you thought it did (we’ve all heard the stories about people ending up with “chow mein” tattooed on their arm in Chinese by accident!)

How does laser tattoo treatment work?

We will use a Q-switched laser to carry out this treatment for you. The laser energy pulse, which happens in billionths of a second, will release a pigment into your skin so that it can be reabsorbed into the body naturally. The laser energy will feel like a lot of little hot dots onto your skin. The discomfort will be reduced considerably, as a stream of cold air is going to be directed at the spots throughout the treatment. We will also try to anesthetize the treatment area so that you do not encounter any pain, as it can be a painful procedure without any anesthetic.

Who is eligible for this treatment?

There are a number of factors that make people good candidates for laser tattoo removal. Typically, people who have a dark tattoo and fair skin tend to experience the best results. Nevertheless, if you have a darker skin tone, your tattoo can still be safely and effectively removed. However, some individuals that do have a darker skin tone can experience the darkening or lightening of the skin area that is being treated, so it is imperative to keep this in mind. This is something that we will discuss with you in full during your consultation.

Who should I have tattoo removal performed by?

It is imperative to make sure that you only have tattoo removal carried out by a trained and experienced professional. The last thing you want to do is leave your tattoo removal in the hands of someone that does not have the right amount of experience. You want to be sure that they have carried out this procedure many times before, and that they have done it successfully as well.

How much does it cost?

It is impossible to give you an accurate price without seeing your tattoo. After all, it depends on the size of your tattoo and the number of sessions that are required. It is going to cost a lot more to have an entire back tattoo removed when compared with a tiny love heart tattoo on someone’s finger, for example. This is why the consultation is so important. We will be able to assess your tattoo so that we can determine how many sessions are likely to be required and give you an accurate quotation for this.

Where can I get it?

Here at Vida Wellness and Beauty Center, we are happy to offer tattoo removal treatments. Our team has received the right level of training and they have plenty of experience. You can enjoy this treatment in our state-of-the-art clinic, and you can have complete peace of mind that we will be able to remove your tattoo in a safe and effective manner.
